David Price knocks out Audley Harrison in 82 seconds ? Boxing News

It seems like Audley Harrison?s dream fight did not quite work for him, instead it gave additional leverage to Briton heavyweight fighter David Price to negotiate a fight against either of the Klitschko brothers. Price scored his 14th victory against Audley and remained an unbeaten fighter. He not only proved he is a master at his art but he even proved he is unbeatable.

The fight took place at the Liverpool Echo Arena. Now, Price is set to face Matt Skelton on December 8.

Price finished Audley Harrison, the once renowned Briton heavyweight, in 82 seconds of the opening round. Now, Frank Molaney, Price?s promoter, believes Price still has a lot of time before he moves onto face Ukrainian champions Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko.

?I think I'll be ready in 12 months. It's Frank Maloney who's going to be moving me towards that,? said Price when asked when he will be challenging the Klitschko brothers.

?I doubt that I'll be getting a phone call off the Klitschkos, offering me a 'voluntary' because of the danger I bring. I'll probably have to get to a mandatory position when they would be forced to fight me because of the danger element. Of course I'm a live opponent for them. So, that's the way I see it, unless there was a lot of money involved with regards to the UK TV rights. That might change things, but I'm definitely a live opponent,? he added.

Price once again established the fact that he is not in a hurry to face the Klitschkos. According to the Briton heavyweight, he does not want to face the champions until he is completely ready. He wants to dominate the division for a long time and not just be there as a flash for a little while.

After defeating Audley, Price has registered himself as one of the fiercest heavyweights of all time. His huge frame and powerful strikes give him the ability to dominate his opponents in the ring. Yet, the Briton believes experience counts a lot, something he lacks right now. He wants to be more experienced before he faces the Klitschko brothers.
